To Grand Master Robert Law

To begin, I want you to know that I am honoured to be one of your pupils in the art of Ninjutsu. Ever since I was young, I have always loved ninjas & the mystery & magic behind them. My hope of studying Ninjutsu became a reality when my friends Joey and Vito introduced me to your Academy. I was extremely excited and enthusiastic & can't take my mind off of it. It was I was taking Hapkido at the time & quit, I didn't learn much, it's more of a sport than a self defence art. Ninjutsu is the true art of self defence, the art of war, an art that's thousands of years old. Ninjutsu is a practical art which you can use in real life situations & it's very effective.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of my classes is the excitement & energy, & most of all hands on experience that you share with us. The stories that you have told us about your life & adventures have brought the art to life & given meaning to our efforts. I speak not only for myself when I say that you are absolutely dynamic, inspiring and motivating. For this & much more to come, I thank you Master. I thank you for your wisdom, knowledge & encouragement. You have done more than teach, you have made us “want” to learn. Your ability to add fun & laughter to class & the way that your exclusive group feels like a family makes me all the more proud that you're my mentor.

The techniques that we learn are excellent & I understand that we have only touched on what will be a wealth of knowledge. I look forward to outdoor training, weapon training & taking our first adventure as a group. Since I began Ninjutsu I feel more self confidence & inner strength. I feel better about myself & my abilities. I'm only regretful that I didn't meet you Master when I was younger, but I'm here now & that's what matters. That's the beauty about this art also, it doesn't matter what age a person is because in this art you don't need any strength to perform a technique effectively. I can see now how the other arts don't or can't compare to Ninjutsu. I love so many of our techniques from car techniques to clothing to rope, guns, knives, it just keeps going. I even like the way we don't use any blocking in our training. I love everything about Ninjutsu. I'm going to train for as long as Master is willing to teach the art.

Ninjutsu is my life now.
